Work Experience – 5 Years, 5 months I have a couple of freelance side projects going on side by side. I currently work on Django on a web application which will be rolled out to local public in Kuwait. And there are some custom requirements, which I satisfied with ASP.net. The application is a movie web application which runs on intranet with around 100 viewers. Working as a software developer at Smart Solutions. Kuwait. (Feb 2009 – Present) Maintaining the Smart Suite Integrated Business Software package. I maintain the School module, and do R&D. I have implemented the Transaction document attachment with Scanner using a Twain user control and integrated into the system, the feature was requested by a lot of customers. |
Worked as a Software Engineer at Bayone Infotech, Pallissery Road, Palarivattom, Kochi 682025, Kerala, India. (June 2007 – Jan 2009) I developed the SSRS reports with MSSQL 2005 in many of the projects which were active at the time of my employment, and maintained some of the already developed SSRS reports. Managed to tune the performance of some of the reports under maintenance, with the use of indexes and Query optimization. I got an oppertunity to improve my technical knowledge drastically and gained a lot of confidence by working here. Worked independently and/or in a team on SharePoint customization, web-part development... in C#.net, xslt, simple masterpage customizations, webservices, excel services, ... Worked as project lead on an Asp.net web application project. I had done a lot of Proof Of Concepts on various technologies also in this company for demo or project proposal. |
Worked as a Programmer at Muziris Softech Pvt. Ltd (Muziris House Kurisupally Road Ravipuram, Cochin 682015 Kerala, India. (July 2005 to June 2007)) Wrote code for Agro-MIS (Agriculture Management Information System in VB.net/Winforms), most of the modules, and implemented a couple of modules at the client. Around 1 year I gave supported at the client and/or over the phone for Agro-MIS. At the start of the employment around 4 to 5 months I got a chance to develop a live project in PowerBuilder also. |
